Slipknot, George Strait, King Von, Patsy Cline. Charles Mingus. Grateful Dead. Miles Davis’ Kind of Blue, Nirvana’s Nevermind, The Beach Boys’ Pet Sounds, all could be considered defining albums of their respective genres.
